I See Faces!

Dear Loved Ones,

I'm back in Minnesota and I can't sleep.  I keep seeing faces in my mind.

I see the face of a woman in bondage to fear and the religion of animism.

I see the face of a widow crying.  Her daughter is in her arms.  We tell her that God loves her and knows her pain because He gave up His Son, Jesus.  She weeps.

I see the faces of smiling pastors who are willing to joyfully suffer and die for Jesus.  Their ministry is hard, but Christ is worth it.

I see the faces of children.  Some are smiling.  Some are not.

I see the faces of pain and hopelessness.  They feel they have no where to turn.

I see the faces of those in the audience during the outreach.  There is a Hindu man in the back who is listening with curiousity.  There are some smiling faces of Christians in the front.  But there is one face that I see more clearly than any of the others.

I see the face of a young girl standing in front of me.  She was the first person to stand up and confess her need for Christ in front of hundreds on Wednesday night.  Her face speaks to me, "Can God love me?  I'm a sinner.  I need Jesus!  I surrender!"  Tears are running down her cheeks.  Her face will forever be etched in my mind.

Christ sees their faces.  He died so that they can turn their face towards heaven and be saved.  May His face shine upon them and may they behold the Risen Lamb!

I put together this short video of some of the faces that I see.  I pray you are blessed!
