I See Faces!

Dear Loved Ones,

I'm back in Minnesota and I can't sleep.  I keep seeing faces in my mind.

I see the face of a woman in bondage to fear and the religion of animism.

I see the face of a widow crying.  Her daughter is in her arms.  We tell her that God loves her and knows her pain because He gave up His Son, Jesus.  She weeps.

I see the faces of smiling pastors who are willing to joyfully suffer and die for Jesus.  Their ministry is hard, but Christ is worth it.

I see the faces of children.  Some are smiling.  Some are not.

I see the faces of pain and hopelessness.  They feel they have no where to turn.

I see the faces of those in the audience during the outreach.  There is a Hindu man in the back who is listening with curiousity.  There are some smiling faces of Christians in the front.  But there is one face that I see more clearly than any of the others.

I see the face of a young girl standing in front of me.  She was the first person to stand up and confess her need for Christ in front of hundreds on Wednesday night.  Her face speaks to me, "Can God love me?  I'm a sinner.  I need Jesus!  I surrender!"  Tears are running down her cheeks.  Her face will forever be etched in my mind.

Christ sees their faces.  He died so that they can turn their face towards heaven and be saved.  May His face shine upon them and may they behold the Risen Lamb!

I put together this short video of some of the faces that I see.  I pray you are blessed!

Amazing Testimonies From India!

Dear Loved Ones,

Thank you so much for your prayers these past two days.  May God get all the glory for what He did.  God brought many people to Christ through the preaching of the Gospel these past two days.  We rejoice in His work in saving sinners through the Word of God.

Medical Camp:  Dr. Richard and his son were able to serve over 400 people in three days.  May we show them Christ's love by caring for them, and may we share with them Christ's love by preaching the gospel.

Below is a Reach All Nations pastor sharing the gospel with a Hindu man who came to the Medical Camp.
Below are some of the Christian volunteers from the Medical Camp

Two New Church Plants:  We were blessed to visit this village and evangelize where a new Reach All Nations church is being planted.

A second Reach All Nations church plant that we committed to the Lord.  May many more churches be planted.

Village Evangelism:   I was blessed to share the gospel with a small group of people while going door to door in a village where there are only three Christians. The young man on my right wanted to repent and trust Christ. It was incredibly brave for him to do this in front of all the other Hindus from his village. A Reach All Nations pastor is planting a church here so he will disciple him in the Truth.

We met the woman in the picture below in a village while doing evangelism.  She is a Christian but her husband is Hindu.  She asked us to pray for God to provide the money to build a house on this plot of ground.  Some sponsors felt led by God to pay for the building of her house.  They came to the outreach last night and I was able to share with her husband that it was a gift from the Lord Jesus Christ.  It was providential that one of the sermons preached last night was from Matthew 7:24-27; Build Your House On The Rock of Christ!  I was able to visit with her husband after the outreach and I pleaded with him to build his life upon Christ.  May he be born again.  God is amazing!

Outreach Event:  The Gospel went forth with conviction and power.  Last night I was blessed to pray for some Hindus who came forward.  I asked them how I could pray for them.  They looked at me with solemn faces and told my interpreter, "For salvation!"  Thank You, Lord!

Here the Reach All Nations pastors are praying for those who wanted to surrender to Christ as Lord and Savior.  The pastors will connect them with local churches so that they can be discipled.

Below the Reach All Nations Pastors are singing, "We will preach the Gospel, even to our dying breath!"

I'm so thankful for your prayers!  We have one more outreach event tonight.  Please pray for many to repent and receive Christ.  May God awaken India to the beauty and love of Jesus Christ.

India Update and Prayer

Thank you so much for your prayers!  We have been incredibly blessed by the Lord Jesus these past two days.  The pastor's conference was amazing.  God came in power on the messages and our worship time together.  The pastors were very encouraged to continue laboring for Christ in difficult situations.

Below is a picture of two young evangelists who are going from village to village preaching the Gospel.  Teja (on the right) is unable to walk so Prasad (on the left) carries him on his back from village to village so that they can preach.  Prasad has swam across rivers with Teja on his back in order to get into areas that are unreached with the Gospel of Christ.  Amazing!

Tonight we have our first outreach in an area that is largly unreached with the Gospel.   The people have tribal religion and are animistic.  We are going door to door to distribute bibles in the afternoon and then hold an outreach in the evening.  Jeff will be sharing his testimony and I will be preaching on coming boldly to the throne of grace from Hebrews 4:14-16.  Please pray for many to come to Christ before His throne of sweet surrender.  May many be born again!

I've included some pictures below.  Thank you so much for praying!  God is working in mighty ways.

Prayer Needed For India Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,

For the past five years God has given me the incredible blessing of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Andhra Pradesh, India. I’ve been blessed to pray in mud huts with persecuted Christians, to give bibles to people who have never heard the Name of Jesus, to minister to the orphans, to wash pastor’s feet, to see people repent and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and to baptize new believers.  What joy!  All of this “was not I, but the grace of God that was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10).

This year is especially exciting for me.  Three years ago Pastor Vijay Sastry, our ministry partner in India, asked us to pray for the construction of a building.  This building will be used to house orphans and to teach pastors how to plant churches in areas where Jesus is not known or worshiped. God has burdened hearts to joyfully give over $40,000 to this cause.  In a few days, God willing, we will break ground and begin the building process.  God is doing a new work in India!  My dream and prayer is that many, many more orphans would experience Christ’s love and that thousands of pastors would be sent out to proclaim Christ in a nation where less than 2% of the people have the hope of eternal life.

I will spend five days preaching and teaching with a ministry team (Aaron, Kris, Justin , David , Gergely  and Mike).  On Monday and Tuesday we will be conducting a pastor’s conference with 150-200 pastors.  God always gives me so much love for these pastors who are physically poor and often persecuted, but who are faithfully and joyfully preaching the Gospel.  On Wedensday, Thursday, and Friday we will be conducting Gospel outreaches in areas where there are few, if any, churches and Christians.  Last year the Holy Spirit worked in a powerful way to bring many people forward with broken hearts to find hope, healing, and to surrender their life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  May God draw thousands to Christ during these outreaches.

Will you commit to pray for our team next week?  We desperately need your prayers.  Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).  We desperately need Christ’s presence and power more than anything else.  My plea with God for this trip is that heart’s would be born again to a Living Hope, that Christ’s love on the cross would be known and received, and that many souls would escape the wrath of God in an eternity of Hell.
