Hungary Prayer Update

(Please click here to go to my blog)
Dear Loved Ones,

Thank you so much for your prayers and love.  I have been so blessed to be in the country of Hungary the past month and to see God do great and awesome things for His glory.  My heart is breaking more and more for Eastern Europe as I see a people who are in desperate need of forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ.  There is much hopelessness here.  The government is torn in two between the left and right parties.  The financial situation of the country is in a crisis.  Secularism and Eastern Mysticism has failed to produce the hope that their hearts long for.

I believe that God has appointed us to be here to do a crusade “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).  Now is the time.  Today is the day of salvation.  The churches of Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, and others are uniting to bring the message of hope.  Hope of forgiveness and freedom from God’s wrath.  Hope of love.  Hope of Heaven.  Hope that is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are specific ways you can pray for me, for our team, and for this part of the world:

1.  Please pray for me.  I am preparing to leave for India on February 26.  I will be meeting up with a team from Bethlehem Baptist.  We will be conducting Pastor Conferences and Crusades.  Please pray that my heart would be filled with Christ and a love for Him and His Gospel.  Pray that I would be empowered to prepare messages and to preach.  May God use our team to reach many for Christ and to empower, encourage, and love pastors.

2.  We are working hard to equip, encourage, and bring Hungarian speaking churches from  throughout Hungary, Romania (Transalvania), Ukraine (Transcarpathia), and Slovakia.  In order to do this we need 120 coordinators throughout these areas.  These coordinators are VERY IMPORTANT because they will help equip and organize about 50% of our audience (18,000).  This is a proven and powerful way to plant churches and to see many saved.  Our coordinator training is in Budapest on Feb. 25.  Thus far God has provided 65 coordinators.  God opened the heavens last week as we saw 60 servants of God commit to being a coordinator.  Please pray for at least 55 more coordinators.  Pray also for my assistant, Gergely, who is working hard on this task!  Our God is able.

3.  We are asking God for big things in regards to reaching the youth.  We are asking for over 1000 youth throughout Hungary to be trained and equipped in our Christian Life & Witness Course.  We have identified 12 areas throughout Hungary where we will have this Spirit-filled training in April.  My assistant, Bence, is working hard to organize this.  On Saturday, June 2,  we will have Youth For Christ night at the Festival. The youth are the next generation to reach this world for Christ. God's heart is burdened for them. Please pray for Bence, for the youth to be experience personal revival through the CLWC course, and for many to be saved.

This past weekend my youth assistant, Bence, and I spoke at a Pentecostal Youth Conference.  God richly blessed it.  Here's two Christian youth that I was able to spend more time with after speaking.  God touched their hearts with the Gospel:

4. This weekend, Friday and Saturday, February 17-18, we will be bringing about 120 key leaders to Budapest in order to train them in the Christian Life & Witness Course.  They will then go back to their area of Hungary and teach the course to churches.  This is a VERY powerful time for churches to unite together, to receive teaching on the Gospel, and to be equipped to share their faith and to be counselors at the Festival.  Please pray for these leaders to be personally touched by the Gospel and to be empowered and encouraged as they go back to teach the CLWC course to others in April.  May the Spirit of God touch us all this weekend.  This is an amazing opportunity to bring multiple denominations together to pray, to seek God's face, and to unite for the Gospel.

Here's a link to video from the crusade in 1989 with Billy Graham.  It's very powerful!  May God do it again.  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgQY2_YwWP0&feature=related)

I love you all with Christ's love.  All things are possible as we abide in Him.  I pray that God would move in us and through us so that this lost and dying world would experience the love of Christ and His saving grace.

Ephesians 3:20-21  "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

In Christ's love,
Justin Hoover
